The hike starts in Binibona, where parking spaces are very limited. The first section to Ses Figueroles is an easy, pleasant trail suitable for all hikers. A short detour leads to the abandoned farmstead of Ses Figueroles, which is an ideal place to take a break.
The second part of the route from Ses Figueroles to Alcanella and on to Pas d'en Bisquerra is more challenging. The path first follows the Torrent des Picarols and passes two well-preserved lime kilns. The ascent is moderate and easy to walk. Near the houses of Alcanella stands the imposing holm oak of Ses Trutges, a hollow tree with a circumference of about six metres, which was catalogued in 2003.
From the location of the holm oak, the path leads along a wall up to Pas d'en Bisquerra. This section is unmarked, but there are cairns to guide the way. The pass at an altitude of 682 metres requires sure-footedness and good shoes. A short climbing passage with a steel cable secures the ascent. The pass is named after Tomeu Bisquerra, a shepherd who used to guide smugglers through the gorge. At the top, there is a wide view and an opportunity to rest.
For the return journey, it is recommended to take the same route, as the path is partially blocked due to storm damage in 2023. On the descent, expect climbing passages over fallen trees and slippery grass. Cairns mark the path and make orientation easier.
