The hike or trail running starts about 3.5 km from Pollenca towards Es Corca on the GR 221, also known as the “dry stone wall trail”. The route leads through varied landscapes with oak forests and past historic trails and water courses created by Romans and Arabs. On the way, you pass several charcoal burners, which bear witness to past craftsmanship.
The trail gradually climbs and reaches Cases de Binifaldo, a small, rustic settlement that is an ideal resting place. After the break, it's on to Refugi Son Amer, a managed refuge that invites you to stop off. From there, the well-marked route leads to Lluc Monastery, an important cultural and spiritual destination.
The easy tour offers charming nature, cultural highlights and historical insights. It is suitable for both hikers and trail runners and impresses with its peace and variety of landscapes.
