La caminata comienza en el pueblo de Alaró y conduce al Castell d'Alaró, una combinación perfecta de naturaleza y cultura.
Desde el pueblo de Alaró, atraviesa el pequeño e idílico Oriente hasta las ruinas del castillo a los pies del Puig d'Alaró, de 825 metros de altura. El Castell d'Alaró es un complejo histórico de castillos que está protegido como monumento cultural español desde 1931. Se han conservado partes de la muralla circular, la puerta de entrada y la torre principal del sur. La ruina ahora es propiedad del municipio de Alaró, de la diócesis de Mallorca y de un propietario privado.
Una vez en la cima, podrá disfrutar de una impresionante vista panorámica de Mallorca, ideal para un descanso. Un restaurante en el Castell le invita a hacer una parada para comer algo.
El descenso de vuelta a Alaró es pintoresco. Una parada en el conocido restaurante Es Verger es ideal para tomar un aperitivo antes de regresar a la llanura.
Esta caminata combina la belleza escénica, las impresiones históricas y los aspectos culinarios más destacados en un viaje variado.
